Animal photographer Iwago Mitsuaki visited Bhutan at the foot of the Himalayas. In Punakha, at an altitude of 1,300m, threshing work is in full swing, while a cat plays around chasing grasshoppers nearby. At Paro temple, at an altitude of 2,200m, Iwago took a satisfying shot of a cat and a monk in a hall bathed in sunlight and filled with the scent of incense. Phobjikha, at an altitude of 2,900m, is a wetland blessed with abundant water sources, where cranes fly in in winter. The cat and girl he met here live a simple but spiritually rich life under an endless blue sky.
